Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research

The Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) is a public socio-economic research institute in Luxembourg. LISER has three research departments “Labour Markets“, “Living Conditions“ and “Urban Development and Mobility” and two cross-department research programmes “Crossing Borders“ and “Health and Health Systems“.

LISER is specialised in the analysis of societal changes. Its mission is to carry out research activities in the social sciences in order to advance knowledge, inform the actions of public authorities and socio-economic actors at national and international level, as well as informing society.
