Senior Project Manager with a PhD in Medical Informatics from Pierre & Marie Curie University (Paris 6). Ariane has expertise in Medical Informatics & Interoperability, Digitalization & Innovation and Information System design & implementation. She has several years of experience in software and data engineering, as well as biomedical research. At LNDS, she leads / supports projects throughout, driving the design, optimization and implementation of business processes.

Bert Verdonk – CEO, Gaia-X Board Member

Bert Verdonck is the CEO of LNDS, a governmental organisation that builds data spaces in the public sector, based on the Gaia-X framework. He has a background at Philips, where he worked on health data sharing and data & AI strategy. He has expertise in business, marketing, sales, product management, clinical informatics, cloud, data and AI/AR, population health, and medical image processing. He explores the adoption of the Gaia-X framework, scouting for European initiatives with a potential to scale.

Gauthier has a strong background in computer science and over 15 years of experience in data management within the financial sector. His expertise covers digital transformation, cybersecurity, and data governance, with a particular focus on building trusted data infrastructures. At the Ministry, he drives policy and initiatives to foster a secure and innovative digital economy, while representing Luxembourg in European-level collaborations such as Gaia-X.

Mario Grotz is the CEO of Luxinnovation, Luxembourg’s national innovation agency that supports companies in their innovation journeys, fosters research collaboration, and drives the country’s economic transformation. He has a strong background in research, innovation policy and digital technologies, having held senior leadership roles at the Ministry of the Economy. He has expertise in innovation ecosystems, technology strategy, digital infrastructures and business development. At Luxinnovation, he focuses on empowering SMEs and start-ups, accelerating sustainable innovation, and strengthening Luxembourg’s position as a leading hub for research and technology.
